We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team and learn the fundamentals of composite production in one of four key areas:
Resin, Filming, Prepreg, or Finishing. This entry‑level role is designed to give you hands‑on experience with production machinery, including setup, safe operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance. You’ll receive training on quality control standards and gain the skills needed to advance into higher‑level roles.

    : $3.00/hr shift premium for night shift hours (5:45 pm – 6:00 am)
  • Starting $24.00
  • 12‑Months: $25.20
  • 24‑Months: $26.46
  • 36‑Months: $27.78
  • 48‑Months: $29.17
  • 60‑Months: $34.92

Schedule:

2‑2‑3 from 5:45 am to 6:00 pm (Day Shift) / 5:45 pm to 6:00 am (Night Shift). Perform, in a learning capacity, various job duties and tasks in one of four areas of composite production/manufacturing process (Resin, Filming, Prepreg, Finishing/Packing). Acquire skills in production machinery set‑up, safe operation, monitoring and preventative maintenance. Train to identify accepted quality control standards. Acquire skills to promote into higher job classification levels.

May move/transport materials. Generally, will not remain in this job classification for more than one year.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
  • Set up and validate production machinery for proper operation.
  • Assist with machine operation to ensure smooth and efficient running and production of quality products.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools to accomplish primary job functions.
  • Obtain materials required for production run.
  • Learn to operate production equipment computer interface and process monitoring systems.
  • Assist in the inspection of products during production runs.
  • Perform job tasks according to schedules using established safe methods and processes.
  • Work with others to achieve an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Clean machine to ensure proper running and operation.
  • Create and/or complete necessary production related paperwork.
  • Participate in shift turnover process.
  • Maintain work area(s) in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Operate equipment including forklift, hoist, etc. to move materials and supplies.
  • Participate in team meetings.
  • Perform other related production duties as assigned.
  • Follow instructions and perform any other duties within this or a higher/lower level job upon supervisor request.
Skills and Specifications
  • Operate from established and well‑known written procedures or instructions. Perform work assignments independently with moderate supervision.
  • Identify safety and quality issues and recommend best action.
  • Set priorities based on predetermined schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and problem‑solve at an intermediate level.
  • Provide high level of customer service to internal customers.
  • Operate customized production equipment and maintain “QA Delegated Inspector” status and other area Production Certifications as required.
  • Operate forklift, hoist, unicorn, etc. and utilize hand tools/ measuring devices.
  • Lift, push, pull or carry objects as required.
  • Use computer, peripherals and applicable software.
  • Accurately perform data entry of inputs and outputs.
  • Read and understand diagrams.
  • Apply safety techniques for handling hazardous materials.
  • Maintain record keeping techniques and procedures.
Education / Experience
  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Previous production experience desired.
Requirements

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a level necessary to successfully perform assigned responsibilities. Interpersonal and teamwork skills; basic mathematical computations; follow directions; use of hands/fingers for repetitive motions; lift up to 40 lb. Must stand up to 12 hours; wear personal protective equipment; respirator fit required if necessary. Must perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
