Key responsibilities:

• Maintenance Technician –
  Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Wage: Maintenance Technician – starting rate $27.25 - $35.55
• Safety Requirements: This position is considered a Safety Sensitive position.
• What you will be doing: Ensuring all equipment is maintained according to supplier guidelines, including conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems (evaporators and condensers), fire protection, freezer doors, pallet-handling equipment, dock doors and other mechanical systems.
• Performing planned preventative maintenance and repairs in a timely and safe manner, with minimal impact to normal operations.
• Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace components in conveyors, cranes, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment, and other mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and fix problems with control systems, low-voltage, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Perform general facility maintenance including minor plumbing, general lighting, and minor building repairs.
• Assist in other warehouse activities as required.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Continually look for opportunities for improvement.

• High School Diploma
• 3+ years of work experience in industrial maintenance or related field preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical systems preferred
• Previous experience with PLCs is a plus, as is familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work effectively in a cold freezer environment
• Must be able to climb 120ft ladder using safety harness
• On occasion, will be required to wear a SCBA while working, requiring employee to be clean shaven
