The Plant Manager leads all operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring performance across Production, Inventory, Packaging, Facilities, and Admin. This role is responsible for team leadership, strategic planning, production efficiency, compliance, and financial performance. A successful candidate will bring strong leadership experience, operational expertise, and a track record of accountability, engagement, and results.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop department managers and cross-functional teams
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance management
- Align production operations with sales forecasts and demand
- Drive accountability, operational excellence, and team culture
- Manage inventory accuracy, transfers, and compliance within ±5% tolerance
- Ensure adherence to state compliance regulations and approve product release
- Forecast, purchase, and manage raw material inventory and storage
- Monitor production KPIs, budgets, and provide monthly reporting to leadership
- Lead food safety compliance, audits, staff training, and corrective actions
- Continuously improve processes and solve operational challenges
- Foster an engaged, motivated, and high-performing workplace culture
- Perform other duties as required
- 5+ years in manufacturing or packaging (food/beverage preferred)
- 2+ years in multi-department team leadership
- Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and inventory systems
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure
- Skilled in communication, conflict resolution, and coaching
- Able to travel as needed between locations
- Proficient in advanced math and visual product inspection
- Willing to undergo background check
- Must obtain all required state permits and certifications
- Salary starting at $100-110k per year
- 11 paid holidays, Unlimited Vacation, 16 hours of VTO, 401K, and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance
