Summary

The Manager - Tacoma Port EPC will oversee all activities related to Glovis Port EPC Operations for this facility. This position will provide leadership and guidance to ensure customer satisfaction is met and exceeded. The Manager will supervise a third party labor operator to ensure development of our standards and KPI's are achieved and exceeded. A key focus of this role will be to enforce compliance standards and requirements, while ensuring all customer services are timely, and quality expectations are met.

Responsibilities
  • Direct All Daily Operations Functions & Goals
    • Work as the liason between the 3rd Party Operator, Customer(s) and Landlord
    • Direct all daily operations for staff on-site
    • Determine head count needed to achieve production goals and order accordingly
    • Review production plans with the 3rd party provide and your manager
    • Report to GUS daily, weekly, monthy
    • Review vessel schedule to determine equipment storage capacity
    • Implement euqipment processing improvements
    • Perform personnel functions such as selection, training, or evaluation
    • Monitor performance of organizational members or partners
    • Manage P&L to Meet Quarterly and Annual Business Plan Targets
    • Lead efforts to maximize efficiencies, optimize service, and meet business plan objectives (P&L) at GUS ports
    • Use thorough knowledge of all phases of the business to ensure efficiency and sustainability
    • Take a hands-on approach to gain direct knowledge in order to validate and/or improve current processes and procedures
    • With a complete understanding of GUS cost and revenue structures, ensure all activities that generate costs to GUS are recovered and appropriately invoiced
    • Business Plans (Monthly/Annual of Financial and Production)
    • Budget Reports (Headcount/Tenders/Cost)
  • Plan GLOVIS' Operations to Meet the Future/Changing Needs of the Customer
    • Determine head count needs gor future growth
    • Manage environmental sustainability projects
    • Recommend organizational process or policy changes
    • Develop organizational goals, objectives, policies, and programs
    • Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range

$101,000 - $113,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
