Lot 89 Pay: $26.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm - Weekends may be required sometimes for projects.
This position has a higher level of responsibility than normal cleaning maintenance team members because there is a focus on special projects related to Painting, equipment storage & cleaning, and client requests.
The Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility off-street and on-street while offering a service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Maintenance staff is responsible for general maintenance cleaning and repair of parking equipment. The Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that standards are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for equipment belonging to Reimagined or the Property Manager valued at anywhere from $200.00 up to $50,000
- General focus on special projects related to painting, installing equipment with tools, maintaining paint equipment and sweepers, and client special requests.
- Standard Monday-Friday shift, but this will require weekends to complete some special projects as days off will be altered depending on the project.
- Special Projects will require team member to lead and assign other maintenance to assist with completing the project.
- Responsible for prioritization of various jobs with his/her supervisors/manager
- Responsible for tracking levels of stock as well as supplies
- Maintenance & Janitor Tasks Include:
• Clean, sweep, mop, wash, scrub and/or polish floors carpets, furniture, equipment, windows, minor woodwork, walls, and building fixtures as required (signs, hardware, ect).
• Clean/sanitize restrooms and simple plumbing fixtures (unplug clog drains ect.)
• Clean and empty trash cans, recycling containers and ashtrays.
• Arrange, build, move, update, and report damage to office furniture and parking equipment.
• Fill out incident reports and Report any hazards or damage to structures.
• Stock, replenish, and organize cleaning materials/supplies according to established procedures.
• Fill out requisition forms for anything low in stock.
• Use all proper PPE Equipment for each and every task/job.
• Operate, clean, and repair motorized parking equipment off-street and on-street. (If applicable to your position.)
• Perform routine security duties during the work shift. (Check inside stairwell if nearby even if cleaning something else outside of it.)
• Work safely and cooperatively with coworkers and the public.
• Remove graffiti and respond to On-street meter calls as designated in the parking contracts. (If applicable to your position.)
• Cleaning unfortunately includes human waste, vomit, urine, and other body fluids.
• Perform general handyman projects such as painting, basic repairs, pressure washing, and sign/equipment installs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
- Must be organized
- Understand the fundamentals to painting, paint prep, and be able to learn how to maintain new equipment.
- Strong command of the English language, be friendly, even tempered, cooperative, able to work independently and be able to communicate effectively
- Basic knowledge in the use of pressure washer and power tools and ability to tow a trailer.
- Ability to operate a snow plow would be an asset
- Ability to drive a number of various different types of vehicles (Automatic or Manual Transmission)
- Knowledge of various parking related machinery
- Previous experience with general repairs and maintenance functions
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic Technical Education
