Description
Position: Maintenance Attendant (Special Projects)
Location: Lot 89
Pay: $26.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. Weekends may be required sometimes for projects.
This position has a higher level of responsibility than normal cleaning maintenance team members because there is a focus on special projects related to painting, equipment storage & cleaning, and client requests.

Compensation: $26.00 / hour
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the parking facility, both off-street and on-street, while delivering service that exceeds customer expectations.
- General maintenance cleaning and repair of parking equipment as required by location needs.
- Work with fellow team members, the Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure standards are met at all times.
- Lead and assign other maintenance staff on special projects as needed.
- Prioritize tasks with supervisors/manager and track stock levels and supplies.
- Maintain equipment ownership records for items valued from $200 to $50,000.
- Carry out maintenance tasks such as painting, equipment installation, paint equipment maintenance, and client requests related to projects.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, furniture, windows, and fixtures; clean/sanitize restrooms; manage trash and recycling; and report damages.
- Use proper PPE and operate/maintain motorized parking equipment as applicable.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Must be organized and able to learn painting fundamentals, paint prep, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong command of the English language; friendly, cooperative, able to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Basic knowledge in the use of a pressure washer and power tools; ability to tow a trailer.
- Ability to operate a snow plow would be an asset.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles (automatic or manual transmission).
- Knowledge of parking related machinery.
- Previous experience with general repairs and maintenance functions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic technical education.
