Maintenance Trainee
Location: Tacoma, WA

Status: Full-Time
Position SummaryPABCO Roofing is looking for a motivated Maintenance Trainee to join our plant maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn industrial maintenance through hands‑on training while supporting the safe and reliable operation of our facility and equipment.
What You’ll Do- Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
- Learn basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and shop cleanup
- Help troubleshoot equipment issues under supervision
- Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Document work performed and report issues to the maintenance team
- Strong desire to learn a skilled trade
- Mechanical aptitude or hands‑on experience
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Willingness to work in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work around machinery
Trainee wage: $30 per hour
