Job Description
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare products.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and food preparation areas daily.
  • Assist in training and orientation of new team members.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
  • Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide to calculate prices and make correct monetary change.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Maintain motor coordination for quick, accurate movements.
Additional Responsibilities for Store‑Based Roles
  • Deliver product by car to customers; deliver flyers and door hangers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle allowed by the company.
  • Navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, and private homes while carrying product.
Requirements & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Basic math proficiency for change and pricing.
  • Computer literacy for order entry.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, push, bend, reach, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands

Work occurs in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F or higher in some work areas. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, and bending or reaching for extended periods.
