** Workers' Compensation Claims Associate

** Workers' Compensation Claims Associate position will support the agency's L&I consulting practice. The WC Claims Associate will work collaboratively with Workers' Compensation Claims Managers to provide support to the team and customers with the goal of containing claim costs and supporting implementation of recommended strategies. The duties relate to managing state fund employers' claims, not acting as a TPA for self-insured businesses.

The WC Claims Associate will gain knowledge of the Washington workers' compensation system and claims management concepts. The WC Claims Associate will be responsible for carrying out all tasks as outlined in the Workers' Compensation Claims Associate

Job Description "Roles and Responsibilities" addendum and report directly to Washington Workers' Compensation Practice Leader Complete administrative tasks in support of the WC Claims Managers within various agency platforms.  Complete projects and ad hoc tasks in support of practice's growth as needs arise.
** Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
** Experience with Washington workers' compensation claims management is (preferred)

Experience with commercial insurance industry basics (preferred)
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Good people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
