Position: IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) with Security Clearance

* Supports the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)/Cyber Security Division Chief in assessing the effectiveness of the Cyber Security program.
* Administers and monitors the implementation of the Defense IA Risk Management Framework (RMF)
* Recommends, develops, evaluates effectiveness of, and disseminates policy and guidance on IA program requirements.
* Conducts vulnerability testing/scanning and analysis.
* Conducts surveys to determine compliance with regulations.
* Ensures all IT devices and networks connected to the Army Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), Anti-Virus (AV) Program and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliant
* Conducts security risk management studies on new computer systems before installation Requirements Help Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CEH or GSEC or Security+ certifications within six months of entering duty.
* Completion of training and certification at level II in Information Assurance Management is required.
* Immunization screening may be required.
* Completion of training and certification at the Basic level for Vulnerability Assessment Analyst (541) is required. Basic Requirement The specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, Information Technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined: (1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
