• Conduct retrospective compliance reviews of billing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations
• Perform special reviews based on risk assessments or audits and formulate recommendations
• Prepare clear reports related to review findings for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with ACO leadership to ensure compliance across various healthcare services
• Maintain effective relationships with providers and administrative staff while addressing coding and billing inquiries

• Minimum of five years' experience in Nursing Facility, Telemedicine, and Post-Acute Care billing, coding operations, and compliance
• Extensive knowledge of E/M Documentation Guidelines, ICD-10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding principles
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to documentation, coding, and billing
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all levels of management
• A current coding credential from AHIMA and/or AAPC

• Bachelor’s degree in a health sciences discipline, business, or a related field
• Documented initiative to further coding skills through continuing education or professional associations
