Job Summary
Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full‑time Patient Access Rep for the fast‑paced Vascular Surgery Clinic in Tacoma, WA. The role supports patient intake, front‑desk and phone interactions, and offers growth opportunities. No nights, weekends or holidays are required.
Responsibilities- Registers and/or checks patients in/out.
- Handles and reconciles payments.
- Continually monitors and reconciles issues prior to patient visit.
- Processes referral orders and/or pre‑authorizations.
- Coordinates appointments and ancillary services.
- Responds to patient questions regarding routine billing and insurance matters.
- Coordinates patient instructional/education activities.
- One year of customer service work experience required; two years preferred. Healthcare or call center experience preferred.
$23.20 - $30.90 /hour
