Overview
Are you a strategic and analytical leader with a passion for healthcare design and the ability to navigate complex projects with confidence? We are seeking a Sr. Healthcare Project Manager who thrives in ambiguity, translates challenging design and regulatory requirements into actionable plans, and builds strong client relationships while driving project and business success. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise, leadership, and presentation skills to guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor emerging professionals, and deliver healthcare environments that are safe, innovative, and impactful.
Responsibilities- Lead healthcare projects with autonomy, overseeing design, documentation, coordination, and construction administration across multiple projects and project types.
- Guide project teams through design challenges and major design decisions, ensuring alignment with design intent, client goals, budget, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Independently present design intent and project direction to clients, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and community stakeholders.
- Oversee and/or create contract documents, specifications, and project manuals; ensure technical accuracy, constructability, and QA/QC compliance.
- Direct consultant coordination across disciplines to resolve technical challenges and integrate findings into project solutions.
- Lead permitting processes, interfacing with regulatory authorities and ensuring timely approvals.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and workflows using Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and other tools.
- Mentor emerging professionals through coaching, feedback, and accountability to support team development and performance.
- Drive business development initiatives, including RFP/RFQ preparation, proposal development, client contract negotiations, and strategic relationship-building within the healthcare market.
- Support firm-wide quality, design intent, and performance standards across projects.
- Cultivate client relationships, demonstrating leadership and professionalism that contributes to future business development opportunities within the healthcare market.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or higher; professional licensure required.
- Significant experience managing healthcare projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Excel, and other project management and design tools.
- Strong technical knowledge across multiple project types, including healthcare codes, constructability, and detailing strategies.
- Demonstrated success leading documentation, coordination, permitting, and compliance in healthcare projects.
- Excellent client relationship, communication, and business development skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop emerging professionals.
- LEED Accreditation, WELL Certification, or EDAC certification preferred.
- This is a full-time position. Some regional travel is necessary.

- The pay range for this position is $108,906– $147,344. New hires typically join in the lower end of this range and progress over time while demonstrating mastery of the position.
