What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Conduct research and analyze large datasets to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Review and assess compliance with state and federal regulations across multiple service lines
  • Draft compliance education materials based on current laws and regulations
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital and remote colleagues to mitigate risk
  • Monitor system outputs for integrity and report errors to management
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • Coding Certification (CPC, CPC‑H, CCS, or CCS‑P) required
  • At least one year of experience coding Evaluation and Management services
  • Knowledge of auditing concepts, regulatory compliance, and billing standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience using compliance management software, such as GRC, or data security
  • Recent experience with revenue cycle and project management
  • Skills in research, auditing, and risk assessment
  • Ability to adapt and prioritize audit functions as required
