Tacoma, WA Hourly or percentage-based options available 4-5 days weekly (Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday). Part-time: 20-31 hours;
Full-time: 32-40 hours weekly.
Life Transitions seeks licensed mental health clinicians to provide therapy in a private practice model supporting diverse communities. Therapists will deliver outpatient mental health evaluations, assessments, and therapy for all age groups.
Responsibilities- Deliver outpatient mental health evaluations, assessments, and therapy for all age groups
- Attend weekly clinical supervision
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality while providing direct therapy services
- Support community referrals and access to services
- Maintain 65-75% client-facing hours (if hourly)
- Create and manage electronic health records
- Consult with supervisors and community professionals
- Conduct intake interviews using biopsychosocial assessment
- Provide case management and group therapy
- Complete required documentation and paperwork
- Master's degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or related field (or bachelor's with agency affiliation)
- MHP credential (obtainable within 30 days)
- Two years' mental health counseling/case management experience
- Active Washington State Department of Health license
- English fluency (speaking, reading, writing)
- Experience with diverse populations
- Current professional liability insurance
- Flexibility for weekends/evenings
- Couples and family therapy experience
- Group therapy facilitation experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (optional, within 90 days)
- Paid vacation and coverage
- Complete administrative and billing support
- Fully equipped office environment
- Manageable caseload (30-40 clients maximum)
- Free on-site clinical supervision

- HIPAA-compliant EMR system
