Certified Nurse Assistant – Facility in Tacoma, WA

Pay Rate: $27 / hour

• Night shift 3x12
• Work week:
  Sun–Sat
• Schedule may rotate from nights to days every 4 months per unit

• At least 2 years as a Certified Nurse Assistant in an acute care setting
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program
• One year of Nursing Experience as CNA after graduation
• Possess and maintain certification as a certified Nursing Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• US Citizen
• NACI background check

• Provide age‑specific care based on SOPs and healthcare provider orders, addressing physical, mental, and emotional needs
• Perform vital sign checks, note deviations, report to team leader, and ensure proper documentation
• Provide safety, hygiene, personal care, ADLs, exercise, turning and repositioning, and transporting of patients
• Clean and restock supply closets and patient rooms, dispose of trash and soiled linens and supplies
• Observe patients for distress or changes in condition and report abnormalities to team leader or nursing/medical personnel
• Assist with minor, acute, and routine primary care tasks in the inpatient setting under supervision of physician, nurse, or other assigned personnel
• Float within inpatient and outpatient settings within scope to assist with duties for patients requiring behavioral health needs, line of sight supervision, or one‑on‑one chaperone
