Registered Radiology Assistant; RA​/RPA

Job Summary

Primary duties of the Registered Radiology Assistant (RA/RPA) consist of various procedures under the direct supervision of the attending Radiologist. The RA will assist and allow for the team to work more effectively and efficiently in the hospital and/or outpatient clinical radiology environment. The RA must also be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the radiology field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Pay: $61.47 - $83.94 per hour based on relevant experience, skills, and abilities.

Location: This role will provide care across our outpatient clinics and inpatient partners

Schedule: 1.0 FTE - Monday - Friday

Education/Work Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required/Master’s Degree preferred
• Successful completion of an ARRT accredited program
• Knowledge of professional clinical theory, practices, and regulations to give and evaluate patient care
• Previous experience in radiological sciences
• Current BLS certification required

Job Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of how to use medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish/maintain a safe work environment
