Independence Rehab is excited to welcome a compassionate and dedicated COTA to our therapy team! You will support two wonderful communities
- Alpine Way in Shelton and Solstice at Point Defiance in Tacoma-both known for their warm environments and commitment to resident-centered care.

You’ll join a supportive, collaborative therapy team that values your skills, your growth, and your impact.

As a COTA in our SNF and ALF-based rehab programs, you will:

• Assist in treating a variety of residents, including those with clinically complex needs

• Perform and teach safe transfers

• Deliver adaptive ADL retraining (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meal prep, etc.)

• Support and carry out the individualized treatment plans created by the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Promote residents’ independence, safety, and meaningful participation in daily activities

We prefer COTAs with 1+ year of SNF experience
, but we welcome all caring, passionate clinicians who:

• Hold a current Washington OTA license in good standing

• Graduated from an accredited OTA program

• Are organized, self-directed, and motivated

• Enjoy working with the geriatric population and value patient-centered care
