• Perform special interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under the direction of a licensed physician using radiologic imaging for guiding procedures.
• Review and/or record pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data.
• Prepare patients for testing.
• Use C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography to perform exams and procedures and obtain a record of data for interpretation by providers.
• Participate in cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures.

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, with one year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training; OR
• Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in the state of Washington, OR
• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and State of Washington Certification.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
