We seek a Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
LocationYour home site will be Tacoma, WA, but you will also be covering the Bellingham to Vancouver area up and down the I-5 corridor.
ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (lunch will be 30 minutes - 1 hour); you will get a 40-hour work week, but the location will vary based on the needs of the business.
Travel and ReimbursementThis is a float role – you will be covering the Bellingham to Vancouver area. You will be covering at all clinics in your designated area and will receive mileage reimbursement as well as drive time reimbursement (drive time reimbursement will kick in after 50 miles). When necessary to stay overnight, hotel and food will be paid for.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
- Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned

- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington
- Ability to travel to all sites in the areas of Bellingham to Vancouver
- Ability to use your own vehicle to commute to all sites in your designated area
- Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 6+ months of previous pharmacy technician experience
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
