This role is eligible for an $8,000 Sign-On Bonus!

The shift for this position is Monday - Friday with variable hours.

The pay range for this position is $38 - $53.82, based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. We aim to challenge the status quo by emphasizing the importance of radiology as a critical first step in diagnosis and treatment. Join us and shine brighter together! As an MRI technologist, you will operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, providing patient-centered care with excellent customer service. You will guide patients through the process, addressing their questions and concerns about exam procedures.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients before exams for precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, including positioning and procedure details, while supporting them throughout the process.
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated body parts for diagnostic purposes, minimizing the need for repeats, and providing support by communicating with patients during procedures.
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed to ensure optimal imaging.
  • Follow physicians' orders accurately, conform to safety regulations, and maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, to promote safety for patients and staff.
  • Maintain compliance with ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  • Additional MRI Department Support (5% of duties):
    • Assist in maintaining updated imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
    • Support training of new staff members by providing technical expertise and resources.
