Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing manufacturing company with multiple locations and increasing operational complexity. This role will help them deeply understand profitability across products, processes, and locations—and turn that insight into better business decisions.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of finance and operations
. You’ll spend time in the plant, work closely with operations teams, and translate manufacturing activity into clear financial insight. This is not a desk-only role or a narrow accounting position.

• Analyze profitability by product, process, yield, and location
• Own cost accounting and manufacturing margin analysis end to end
• Partner with operations to understand cutting, tempering, polishing, and insulating processes
• Identify margin drivers and sources of loss across manufacturing workflows
• Spend regular time on the shop floor to understand yield loss and inventory practices
• Improve financial reporting and visibility using ERP and related tools
• Support a multi-entity environment with multiple operating statements
• Translate imperfect data into clear, actionable insight for leadership

Experience

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Public accounting background
• Exposure to complex or multi-entity environments preferred
• CPA is a plus

• Curious about operations, not just financial statements
• Comfortable operating without perfect systems or clean data
• Self-directed, accountable, and able to take ownership
• This position is 100% on site at their Tacoma location.
