Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to provide leadership and oversight during a major accounting system migration. TAs the Controller, you will oversee month end close, review the team's work, and also help with process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead and mentor the General Ledger team; provide oversight for Accounts Payable.

+ Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition.

+ Review financial reports, reconciliations, and internal control processes for accuracy and compliance.

+ Monitor AP workflow and resolve issues related to vendor payments.

+ Evaluate and improve accounting processes and internal controls.

+ Maintain GAAP compliance and stay current on regulatory requirements.

+ Participate in management meetings and provide financial insights.

+ Perform other duties as needed to support the accounting function during the transition.
