Power Dispatcher for Power Transmission Systems
The candidate will be working shift in Power Control Centres in Saudi Arabia – Full time job.
Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Power Dispatcher for an electrical transmission network with deep knowledge in the following areas related to the control centre:
- Power outages switching
- Managing network balancing and reliability
- Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Experienced in switching and operational protocols
- Worked as Power Dispatcher/System Operator with international Transmission Systems Operators (TSOs) in Europe and the US
- Monitoring and controlling power systems to maintain a constant and reliable power supply
- Responding to power outages and system failures, coordinating repair teams as necessary
- Managing load dispatch functions and maintaining load flow
- Implementing emergency operations procedures during power outages or system emergencies
- Developing and implementing isolation and switching programs
- Developing and implementing contingency plans for the power network
- Mid‑Senior level
