• Support the team using scientific methods and algorithms to improve operational tools
• Model near-term and mid-term operations to maximize resource value and ensure compliance
• Develop and implement operations plans based on hydrologic conditions and market forecasts
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to wholesale trading and operations staff
• Serve as a subject matter expert and on-call resource for training and operational support

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, public administration, or a directly related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical power operational modeling, trading, or quantitative analysis
• Ability to provide technical expertise on a rotating 24/7 on-call basis
• Strong investigative and exploratory skills
• Experience with statistical modeling tools such as R or Python

• Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders and leadership
• Knowledge of hydropower operations and market dynamics
• Familiarity with decision support tools and water management practices
