What You Will Do

As the Regional Lead AV Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of AV commissioning across multiple regions. Reporting directly to the Global Commissioning Lead, you will lead a high‑performing team of AV Commissioning Engineers, ensuring flawless execution of AV solutions for dynamic and complex environments worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor a regional team of AV Commissioning Engineers.
  • Direct daily commissioning activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate resource allocation, scheduling, and task assignments to meet project milestones efficiently.
  • Review AV system designs for feasibility, compliance, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee AV systems meet the highest performance standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during commissioning phases, delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and programmers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and implement commissioning best practices, workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance during complex commissioning tasks.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate training sessions and promote knowledge transfer within the commissioning team.
  • Support long‑term planning and innovation within the AV commissioning function.
Essential Criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an AV Commissioning Engineer or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies including audio processors, video codecs, displays, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with AV protocols such as HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, and AES

  • Proficiency in AV system calibration and audio optimization.
  • Hands‑on experience with AV testing equipment and measurement tools.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and customer‑focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required (60%‑70% travel).
Desirable Criteria
  • Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of AV control programming languages (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
Pay Range

$140,000—$150,000 USD
