We are seeking a Student Services Coordinator to join our team at the campus in Tacoma, WA.
This role is focused on supporting students’ academic experience, attendance, program completion, and access to resources both inside and outside of school.

Essential Responsibilities- Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Assist the Associate Director of Student Affairs with retention activities including conducting first-hour/first-call retention to increase lab attendance.
- Assist with preparation, facilitation, and execution of College Prep Day, Start Day, and 14-day new student retention initiatives.
- Monitor weekly the first module success rate.
- Plan and manage the student activity calendar, including:
- College Prep Day
- Start Day/Gateway to Success
- Student activities such as student appreciation day, student awards ceremony, and student cross-over ceremony
- Collaborate with ECPP vendor facilitators/proctors to follow up on attendance and participation in adult education and vocational programs as applicable.
- Facilitate and coordinate student access to on-campus tutoring and other learning resources.
- Create and maintain a student resource database with information on housing, child care, transportation, healthcare, etc.
- Develop and monitor a campus community-moderated classifieds/forum for students to exchange information about resources and needs (e.g., carpooling, childcare exchange).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Teaching, advising, coaching, counseling, or related experience.
- High school diploma required; some college preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong problem-resolution skills.
- Resourceful and innovative in finding useful information.
- Above-average IT and social media skills (e.g., student database, online educational resources).
- Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and students; strong team player.
