Ideal candidates must have over 3 years of experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, along with board certification. The role involves both pre- and post-operative management, daily patient rounds, and assistance during surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures.

Strong candidates will also have ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications.
