This children's hospital is a respected pediatric medical facility offering comprehensive care with strong wrap-around sub-specialty support (30+ specialties available for consultation). The facility features a 66-bed department and operates as a Level 2 trauma center with dedicated pediatric services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatrics

Job Details:

• Must commit to minimum of 7 shifts per month (two of which being nights)

• AM shift times: 8a-7p or 10a-8p

• PM shifts: 5p-10a or 9p-10a

• Must be Peds Board Certified;
Peds Hospital Medicine Preferred

• Active WA license and clean histories preferred for early start dates

• Provider will see patients ages 0-21

• Average 15-18 patient encounters per shift

• Will work with strong wrap-around sub-specialties (30+) available for consult support

• Required to manage inpatient pediatric care, including PICU cases

• Experience with non-invasive ventilation management (BIPAP/CPAP) required

• Must be comfortable with acute and chronic ventilation management

• Pediatric intubation, conscious sedation, deep sedation, and central line placement skills required

• BLS certification required

• Level 2 trauma and pediatric facility

• Ideal start date:
February/March

• Expedited privileges will be requested; clean background required

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
