A major healthcare system in Tacoma, WA is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology physician locum for a 6-month assignment, with potential to extend. • Location: Tacoma & Gig Harbor, WA

• Schedule: 4 days/week - 8am-5pm

  • Mon, Wed, Thurs at Tacoma location

  • Friday at Gig Harbor

  • Tuesdays off

• Weekend Call: 1 in 4 rotation (Fri PM Mon AM)

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: 6 months with option to extend

• Payrate:
  

  • Hourly
    24-hour call (includes 4 gratis hours)
    Holiday Call & Callback Pay additional

• Clinic + Inpatient mix (Hospital Outpatient Department)

• EMR: Epic

• Patients/day:

• Outpatient Visit Times:

  • New: 1 hour

  • Follow-ups: 20 minutes

• No required procedures bone marrow aspiration is optional

• Well-supported by standard clinical staff

• Complimentary travel and lodging provided

• Work in beautiful Puget Sound area with water views, fresh air, and easy access to Seattle

• BC or BE in Hematology/Oncology

• WA State License & DEA

• BLS Certified

• Clean malpractice history preferred

• Must be comfortable managing both hematology and oncology patients
