Job Title: On-Call General Laborer (Construction)
Location: Tacoma
Pay Rate: $28 $ 32 per hour
Job Type: On-Call / As-Needed
Project Duration: Up to 2 Years (Intermittent Work)
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers for on-call construction support projects in Tacoma, WA. This position will provide assistance on active construction sites, performing cleanup, material handling, cabinet moving, and a variety of general labor tasks. Work will be project-based and may be scheduled on and off over the course of up to two years.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are flexible, safety-conscious, and experienced working in construction environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform construction site cleanup, including debris removal and site organization
Move and stage cabinets, building materials, and other job site items
Load and unload materials and equipment
Assist skilled tradespeople as directed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all site safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs regularly)
Must wear required PPE at all times (hard hat and high-visibility vest required)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Must be comfortable with on-call scheduling and fluctuating workload
On-call / as-needed basis
Hours and project duration may vary
Work may be intermittent over a period of up to two years
$28 $ 32 per hour, depending on experience
