Overview
A company is looking for a Global Trade Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to trade regulations and manage customs compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage U.S. import clearance activities and monitor updates to HTS classifications
- Develop and implement an internal control program focused on trade risk and compliance
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams and collaborate with outside counsel on customs issues
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Licensed U.S. Customs Broker with 3-5 years of experience in a global corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin determinations
- Experience with USMCA and using ACE
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
