Accounts Payable III – Tacoma, WA

The Accounts Payable III role is responsible for performing advanced accounts payable functions and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Compensation Range: $26.81 – $32.50 per hour (depending on experience)

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and promptly, including matching, coding, and entering data into the ERP system.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and reporting.
• Maintain organized, accurate records of all A/P transactions.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a high‑volume environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
• Strong understanding of A/P processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
