The RoleAs an Electrical Supervisor
, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical systems and infrastructure within the property, ensuring they are operating safely and efficiently. You will lead a team of electricians, provide guidance on maintenance and repairs, and ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations. Your role will also involve coordinating with other departments to ensure minimal disruption and optimal operation of electrical systems that support the overall guest experience and business operations.

Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesPlease note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will need to:
- Supervise, lead, and train the electrical team to ensure effective and efficient maintenance of all electrical systems within the property.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement or potential issues before they affect operations.
- Ensure that all electrical work is carried out in compliance with local laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, including power supply, lighting, and control systems.
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems to prevent potential failures or breakdowns, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance Manager to ensure electrical systems are regularly tested and maintained as per the property's preventive maintenance schedule.
- Supervise troubleshooting and repairs of electrical faults across the property, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Ensure that electrical equipment is always maintained and in safe working order, addressing any safety hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Work closely with other departments to understand their electrical needs and assist with the installation and maintenance of specialized electrical systems.
- Manage electrical inventory and stock, ensuring that all necessary materials and tools are available and in good condition.
- Review and implement energy saving initiatives, optimizing electrical consumption across the property and helping to reduce operational costs.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to other team members when needed.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual maintenance budget, ensuring all electrical needs are accounted for and efficiently managed.
- Handle emergency electrical issues and breakdowns, ensuring minimal impact on guest services and operations.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed in all electrical works, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Report any significant electrical issues or safety concerns to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain good communication with contractors and vendors involved in electrical maintenance, ensuring service levels and quality standards are met.
- Perform any other duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the engineering department.
