Position OverviewTo design, plan, coordinate and manage all Logistics Centre operations, including receiving, dispatch of orders, inventory control, general housekeeping, and security; as well as ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design and development of RSG Logistics Facilities.
- Lead the operational implementation of new facilities.
- Ensure Logistic Facilities functions are strictly followed according to company policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute endorsed plans and programs to achieve organizational and departmental goals and objectives.
- Lead the setting of Scope of Work, SLA and RFP processes for logistics outsourcing.
- Monitor and անուն manage the logistics service providers to ensure all contractual and operational requirements are met and/or exceeded.
- Develop continuous improvement plans, programs and activities to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, KPI's and key metrics, DC space and inventory movements.
- Ensure that all transactions are strictly documented and updated in IT systems.
- Ensure Quality and HSE standards are set, communicated and adhered to in all facilities.
- Establish performance measures and priorities for each facility and operation.
- Conduct regular inspection visits to each facility to evaluate the efficiency of their performance.
- Continuously monitor the market environment to identify and implement opportunities for increasing and developing the Responsiveness and Efficiency of facilities and operations.
- Maintain proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure ongoing training of staff to continuously develop incumbents technical and HSE skills.
- Prepare periodic (daily, weekly iby monthly and adhoc) reports with respect to facilities, operations, activities and inventory.
- Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates.
- Perform other duties related to the job as assignedeens by TRSDC Management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Recognized degree in Supply Chain & Logistics (MBA preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years in a Distribution Centre operations field.
