Laundry Supervisor

Overview

• Support the Executive Caretaker in implementing Jayasom’s strategy, policies, and operational initiatives.
• Lead the Laundry team to ensure the highest standards of laundry services.
• Manage and control laundry budgets, forecasts, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure smooth daily operations and timely completion of all tasks.
• Promote Jayasom’s wellness and sustainability culture by leading through example.

• Oversee daily laundry operations to ensure compliance with Jayasom’s service standards and procedures.
• Manage and supervise the Laundry team to meet departmental objectives and service timelines.
• Ensure proper handling, timely return, and high-quality finishing of guest laundry and dry cleaning.
• Control detergent, chemical, linen, wardrobe, and inventory levels, including coordination with external laundry providers.
• Maintain regular linen and wardrobe inventories and ensure sufficient par levels.
• Establish and monitor maintenance schedules for all laundry machinery and equipment.
• Conduct quality control checks on linen and laundry items.
• Coordinate VIP preparations and special guest requests with relevant departments.
• Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring full satisfaction and proper documentation.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth operations and consistent service quality.
• Monitor maintenance issues, report faults, and follow up on resolutions.
• Support departmental business planning and prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure guest records are accurately updated in line with company policies and local requirements.
