Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the RO-1 expansion and future wet utilities projects within the Marafiq Red Sea Project.

This role focuses on mechanical design review, compliance, and integration of large-scale water and wastewater facilities, working closely with EPC contractors, Owner's Engineer, and internal teams.

• Review and validate mechanical designs, drawings, and calculations from EPCs and third parties
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international codes (ASME, API, ISO, EN)
• Coordinate interfaces to resolve mechanical design issues efficiently
• Conduct quality audits and site inspections to maintain technical integrity
• Identify mechanical risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's is a plus)
• 10-12+ years experience in mechanical engineering for water & wastewater projects
• Strong EPC and construction background
• Expertise in pumps, piping, rotating equipment, HVAC
• Solid knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, EN standards
