The Building Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall functionality of all buildings and related infrastructure throughout the property. This position ensures that all facilities are safe, clean, operational, and maintained to the highest standards to support daily golf course operations, events, food and beverage service, and guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and perform general building maintenance and repairs including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and structural upkeep
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all buildings and facility systems
- Conduct routine inspections of clubhouses, event centers, maintenance buildings, and other on-site structures
- Coordinate and manage third-party contractors and service providers
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and applicable building codes
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inspection reports
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
- Assist in planning and execution of facility improvement projects
- Manage inventory of department personal property items, tools, parts, and maintenance supplies
- Collaborate with golf course, events, and food & beverage departments to ensure facilities meet operational needs
- Ensure grounds surrounding facilities are maintained in a safe and presentable condition
- Minimum of 3–5 years of building maintenance or facilities management experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and structural issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment
This position requires both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support golf course operations and events.
