The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse tasks between our regional warehouses to ensure the efficient operation of our facility. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring a safe work environment. As a team player, the Warehouse Associate will collaborate with all departments at Renewal by Andersen of CNY to meet company goals and initiatives.

• Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of products and materials.
• Inspect incoming products for defects and damages, ensuring only high-quality items are accepted into inventory.
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in the appropriate areas, maintaining organized storage systems.
• Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency while ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.
• Check, verify, and fill job orders per material list, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Stage window units for install teams, ensuring timely access to required materials.
• Tag and label material and units to be staged, maintaining visibility to prevent loss or misplacement.
• Earn and Maintain PIT Certification:
  Obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification to safely operate a forklift as needed. This is essential for tasks that occasionally require forklift use to move materials or equipment within the facility. Regular training and recertification will ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a Clean Driving Record:
  Ensure compliance with company standards by possessing and maintaining a clean driving record, free from major violations or repeated infractions. This is a critical requirement for operating company vehicles safely and effectively to fulfill job duties.

• 2 years or less of verifiable experience working in a warehouse environment, with demonstrated understanding of daily operations, safety procedures, inventory handling, and material movement.
• Must pass and maintain a valid DOT medical examination/physical.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience handling full life cycle flow of home improvement product installation/service highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
• Obtain and maintain PIT certification
