Plumber, Building Maintenance
Cedar Park Group is hiring Residential & Commercial Plumbers for multiple ongoing projects.
Schedule/Shift
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, depending on orkload
- Residential roles may include on-call work (as needed)
Position Overview
This order includes two separate skill tracks:
Commercial Plumber: Commercial plumbers support jobsite plumbing work across the Syracuse area and may travel a bit to job sites. The ideal candidate has strong commercial experience across installation, maintenance, and repair work, and comes equipped with tools of the trade.
Residential Plumber: Residential plumbers support homeowner-facing service and installation work, including drain calls and fixture installs, as well as new construction rough-ins and finish fixtures. Strong communication and professionalism in occupied homes is required.
Required Qualifications
For both Residential & Commercial
5–6+ years of plumbing experience (minimum)
Comfortable working with (as applicable): PVC, Copper, valves, drains
Able to perform repairs and installs independently
Tools of the trade (some required)
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 preferred (especially helpful for commercial; not required for residential)
Responsibilities
Commercial Plumber Responsibilities
Install and maintain plumbing systems on commercial job sites
Work with materials including PEX, copper, PVC, cast iron
Install/repair drains, valves, and related components
Support work involving large high-temperature boilers, RTUs, and commercial maintenance/install needs (when applicable)
Follow jobsite safety practices and coordinate with site teams
Residential Plumber Responsibilities
Diagnose and clear drain issues/clogs
Install and repair PVC drains, copper piping, and common fixtures (sinks, toilets, tubs)
Complete rough-ins and fixture installations for new construction/residential projects
Communicate professionally with homeowners and maintain a clean work area
Perform repairs using PVC, Copper, Pro Press (as applicable)
