Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Carpenter role located in Syracuse, NY. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing various tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, using hand and power tools, and ensuring construction meets quality standards. Duties include measuring, cutting, assembling materials, and collaborating with a team to complete construction projects on time and to client satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform framing and finish carpentry tasks with precision and quality.
- Utilize hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, and install materials.
- Read and interpret project plans and specifications to guide work.
- Collaborate with team members to complete construction projects on time and to client satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry techniques
- Experience in using Hand Tools and Power Tools safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of Framing methods and practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy materials and work on-site in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in commercial or residential construction is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is beneficial
