Job Description:
We are looking for motivated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team as HVAC helpers. The responsibilities of an HVAC helper include assisting HVAC technicians to complete routine preventative maintenance, completing various repairs to HVAC systems, and installing different types of new HVAC systems. All applicants should be good with their hands, be familiar with using tools, and able to effectively follow instruction and work well with others.
HVACHELPER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting technicians perform routine preventative maintenance on various HVAC systems at commercial and residential properties throughout New York State.
- Assisting technicians to perform repairs on various HVAC systems at commercial and residential properties throughout New York State.
- Assisting technicians perform installations of various HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties throughout New York State.
- Operating and using hand tools and power tools; following instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from the job site.
- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are kept in good working order and tracked properly.
- Working well with others.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with using basic hand and power tools.
- Able to lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
