The North Atlantic States Regional Council represents over 30,000 men and women employed by leading residential and commercial general contractors and carpentry subcontractors in the region. Carpenters perform work such as wood framing, concrete forming, interior metal framing and drywall, ceilings, window installation, flooring, doors and hardware, finish/trim, millwork, and furniture installation, as well as pile driving and marine construction. The union offers comprehensive apprenticeship and life-long skills upgrade training at 18 locations, with curriculum developed by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter located in Syracuse, NY. The Carpenter will be responsible for tasks such as wood framing, installing drywall, ceilings, and windows, flooring, doors and hardware, finish trim, and millwork. The role involves using various hand and power tools to complete exterior and interior carpentry projects according to blueprints and client specifications.
Qualifications- Strong Carpentry skills, including wood framing and finish carpentry
- Proficiency with Hand Tools
- Experience using Power Tools
- Ability to read blueprints and execute projects
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications and training in carpentry are a plus
