Job Summary
Swift Transportation is seeking a Diesel Technician to maintain and repair our fleet of tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment at 7470 Round Pond Rd., Syracuse, NY 13212. This is a full‑time position Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:00 pm with hourly pay $26–$36 plus overtime.

- Perform quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company‑owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.).
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and re‑assemble heavy truck & trailer components.
- Conduct tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
