Base Pay Range

$52,000.00/yr - $62,000.00/yr

Continental Blower, LLC has been a leading industrial service provider specializing in the sale, maintenance, and repair of multistage centrifugal blowers and other critical rotating equipment. Located in Syracuse, New York, our clients include municipalities, manufacturing plants, energy facilities, and wastewater treatment systems across the United States and Canada. We are expanding our service offerings and are seeking motivated individuals—whether new to the industry or experienced professionals—to join our service team.

Field Service Technician – You will work on-site at customer locations to start up, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial blower systems. Candidates with little or no experience are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided. Prior experience in rotating equipment or field service will be prioritized for advanced responsibilities and leadership opportunities. When not traveling, you will perform work inside the shop, which includes assembling new projects and rebuilding current systems.

This is a field‑focused role with increasing travel expectations as your technical skills develop.

25‑40% domestic US and Canada, based on experience and project needs.

• Assist with new build assemblies, inspection, repair, and overhaul of multistage centrifugal blowers and related equipment.
• Travel to customer sites (local and national) to support service projects.
• Use hand tools and diagnostic equipment under the guidance of senior technicians or independently if experienced.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and service manuals.
• Document work performed and communicate effectively with project managers.
• Follow all safety protocols on-site and in the shop.
• Participate in training and certification programs.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands‑on experience in automotive, construction, or similar industries preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial environments.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• 2+ years of experience with multistage centrifugal blowers, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in pump/blower alignment, vibration analysis, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Field service or remote job site experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
