About The Job

We’re seeking a Head of Physical Security who will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and support the operational oversight and execution of the firm’s physical security and risk management programs across the United States. This role ensures the security and resiliency of personnel, facilities, and assets while fostering employee safety and positive workplace experiences. The role will manage service providers, conduct risk assessments, develop programs, and support crisis and incident management.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in corporate security operations with strong interpersonal and decision‑making skills, capable of influencing senior leadership while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and security best practices.

• Leadership & Strategic Support
  • Support the CISO in developing and executing a company‑wide physical security strategy that aligns with corporate goals, ensuring consistency across all locations.
  • Advise executive leadership on physical security matters, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with executives, site leaders, and cross‑functional teams to improve compliance and enhance employee experience.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance security policies to address evolving risks, especially those specific to financial services.
• Operational Oversight
  • Oversee daily security operations across multiple U.S. corporate offices, including guard services, access control, CCTV/alarm monitoring, and vendor management.
  • Lead regional security and safety audits, vulnerability assessments, and follow‑up remediation activities.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, vendor performance, and security system operations.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats and implement mitigation plans.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity plans for incidents affecting facilities and personnel.
  • Manage, oversee, and perform digital threat monitoring, takedowns, and PII removal for the company and its executives.
• Incident & Crisis Management
  • Serve as a primary responder for physical security incidents, ensuring timely escalation and reporting.
  • Maintain readiness for emergency procedures, drills, and continuity of operations.
  • Partner with law enforcement, emergency services, and local agencies to support investigations and coordinated responses.
• Training & Engagement
  • Create and deliver training programs in emergency response, incident management, and security awareness.
  • Promote a culture of vigilance and shared responsibility.
• Event & Special Project Security
  • Provide security support for corporate events, projects, and office buildouts.
  • Oversee safety and security planning for high‑profile events.
  • Perform in‑depth risk assessments for upcoming travel and events.

• 10+ years of related experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or public safety, including at least 5 years in security management.
• Prior experience in financial services or technology industries preferred. Excellent judgment with the ability to assess threats, elevate appropriately, and influence leadership decisions.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
• Proven track record in program management, budgeting, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail, organizational strength, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Customer‑service–oriented mindset with ability to balance security requirements and employee experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced security certifications (CPP, PSP, CEM) a plus.
• Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
• Availability for after‑hours response to critical incidents.
• This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Ability to travel and provide on‑site event support as needed.
