This is a driving post, so you will patrol the premises by vehicle as needed. You will also provide outstanding customer service through clear communication while working with a team that values integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and/or information as needed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
