Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.21 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
Sun 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related issues and provide reassurance to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and emergency personnel as required.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entrances and exits as directed by site-specific guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
