Location: City of SyracuseJOB SUMMARY
Connect people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication services through door-to-door solicitation of new prospective customers.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Be tenacious and driven, excelling in environments where your effort is rewarded—uncapped potential.Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads.Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with prospective customers.Develop and present sales proposals on products and services that meet customer needs.Accurately complete all paperwork supporting sales activities, including dispositioning, entering sales orders, and reporting.Participate actively in sales meetings and training programs to support team and individual goals.Achieve monthly sales quotas in high-speed data, mobile, landline, and video sales.Complete administrative tasks related to products sold, following department policies and procedures.Stay informed about competitors' activities in the assigned territory and report any significant changes.Attend and complete training programs successfully.Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Engaging interpersonal skills.Ability to listen, formulate needs-based sales strategies, and articulate product pitches.A passion for success and a strong personal drive to sell.Ability to travel to and from assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle.Familiarity with computer systems, software, and communication devices.Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a good driving record.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Education
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in sales, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience preferred.Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, especially data networking fundamentals.Work Experience
At least 2+ years in sales or relevant work experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Approximately 90% outside in various weather conditions.Minimal time in an office environment.Moderate noise levels.#ZRSM

The base pay ranges from $27,600.00 to $45,800.00
, with actual offers considering skills, experience, and location. Some positions may qualify for bonuses or incentives.
Position has a commission target starting at $65,000
