Research Assistant

Overview

Job Summary:

Assist with academic research to include preparation and submission of regulatory documentation to the Institutional Review Board and Data Safety Monitoring Committee. Assist with editing and preparation of manuscripts for publication. Assist in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and/or presentation. Assist with the writing and editing of experimental results for publication. Perform data analysis, verification and summarization of research findings and results.

Prepares materials for submission to organizations that fund research. Conduct literature reviews. Assist in the acquisition of research materials from department and/or campus resources. Assist in administrative duties such as completing reports. Attend project meetings.

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in business, statistics, computer science, biology, chemistry or similar discipline, and 1 year specialized training and experience in project-related research techniques. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree preferred. Candidates with statistical experience and interest in oncology research is preferred.

Work Days:
Monday - Friday; 8:00 - 4:30

Salary: G6: $23.46 - $43.93
